Dominique Moreno is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in harp performance from the Manhattan School of Music, where she studies with Metropolitan Opera harpist Susan Jolles. Her broad experience in playing different genres has given her opportunities like being featured in studio recordings, collaborating with GRAMMY award-winning artists, and performing in corporate fashion events featuring special guests such as Danielle Jonas and Michael Russo. She has played in high-profile concert halls and venues including the Four Seasons Hotel, Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park, and Carnegie Hall.
Dominique began her musical studies at a young age by learning piano at four years old. She started violin when she was nine and began learning the harp at age ten with Emily Mitchell. For five summers, Dominique attended Ruth Faber’s Harp course in England. She studied with harpists Ruth Faber, Keziah Thomas, Eleanor Turner, Camilla Pay, and Rachel Masters. Her solo performances and recordings have won her awards such as third prize in the 2019 Milligan Harp Competition, first prize in the 2014 Milligan Harp Scholarship Competition, and ranked first in a state competition in Texas. She has played in masterclasses for harpists Anneleen Lenaerts, Nancy Allen, Emmanuel Ceysson, Mariko Anraku, Delaine Leonard Fedson and Paula Page.
Outside of performing, Dominique has a strong interest in business and contributes to broader fields of music and entertainment in various genres.
Dominique has years of teaching experience and is available to teach private lessons for harp and piano. Last summer, she was invited to teach children ages 8 - 13 at Ruth Faber’s Junior Harp Course in Bath, England.
She has a private harp studio in New York City.
